What's the International Meeting Point?
If you are a foreigner who just arrived in Budapest, and you would like to meet some other foreigners or locals; if you are Hungarian, and you would like to exercise your English, French, or any other languages in a cheerful atmosphere: International Meeting Point Bp may be your thing!
Budapest attracts more and more foreigners/expats, but it is not always easy to meet new people. There are also lots of Hungarians who would like to meet foreigners to improve their language skills.
This is why we made those bi-weekly events (thursday evening) at affordable but pretty cool bars.
There is usually participants from all corners of the world: Hungary, of course, but also France, Tunisia, Britain, Germany, Albania, Poland, Costa Rica, Mexico, Finland, Romania, Syria... All Meeting Point guests get a free wristband, so they can easily find each other and avoid embarrassing false starts with random patrons of the establishment.
Also, there is a raffle at every Meeting Point in which every guest is automatically entered (ask for your free wristband).
The events are free, and everyone is welcome! So come here to have a Soproni or a Palinka, you are all welcome at International Meeting Point Budapest!
